Kroger and your local First Responders including Fire Fighters, Local Law Enforcement, Emergency First Responders and more have stepped up to help with the Kroger First Responders Food Drive. Responders have donated their time to collect food and funds at local Kroger stores all over southeast Michigan. It is through these donations Forgotten Harvest is able to carry on its mission.
• Volunteer Job Description
- The volunteers will help create and engagement with customers to donate food.
- Volunteers will receive a flyer with a QR code if customers would like to donate money.
• Age Requirement
- Volunteers must be at least 10 years of age. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
• Supplies and Dress Code
- You will be working outside, so please dress appropriately. We ask that you not wear any t-shirts that may be viewed as offensive, if you have a Forgotten Harvest t-shirt, please feel free to wear.
- In the week leading up to the event you can stop by Forgotten Harvest to pickup a t-shirt (while supplies last) and lanyard – this is not mandatory, only if you’re able.
