Dust off your cassettes. Tease up your hair. It's Forgotten Harvest's first themed volunteer event and we are celebrating the 80's! Come dressed in your 80's gear, eat 80's snacks, and listen to 80's music while volunteering.
Volunteers will help pack emergency food boxes, re-pack or sort fresh nutritious food that will be distributed through Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County. This opportunity is located at the Oak Park warehouse - 15000 Eight Mile, Oak Park, MI 48237.
There are 2 volunteer opportunities from 9am-12pm and 1-4pm. Volunteers must be at least 10 years of age. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
MANDATORY DRESS CODE
Must wear long pants & closed toe shoes.
- NO open toe or heel shoes (any kind of shoe exposing feet or any part of the foot. ex. sandals, sling back, ballet slippers or Crocs)
- NO tank tops
- NO jewelry. Wedding rings are fine. All earrings and facial piercings must be removed.
